Our Mission
“To create a more inclusive community that embraces diversity amongst different identities and cultures by providing a safe platform for teens to share their perspectives, stories, and thoughts, while advocating for solutions to issues relating to race relations, global events, identity, etc.”

Our Vision
Our magazine with monthly themes allows for teens from diverse backgrounds to share their stories, perspectives, and thoughts either anonymously or known to a larger audience. The themes will focus on the different experiences of people from all cultures, races, etc. in hopes of broadening perspectives and building a more inclusive community.
Oftentimes, the root of stereotypes and false assumptions stem from misunderstandings of each other. Stories, on the other hand, are one of the most powerful mediums of information: they give us a chance to truly understand each others' experiences. Thus, we want to create a comprehensive collection of writing highlighting the unique perspectives of people around the world. We hope that these stories will help people to further understand each other more and thus work towards a more diverse and inclusive future.
Furthermore, we allow for open discussion about global politics and issues on our online blog (some will be featured in the magazine). A lot of times in the online atmosphere and especially on social media, when a controversial issue is brought up, there is major backlash on both sides, with comments often spiraling to threats and filled with negative and degrading statements. However, oftentimes, a lot of the people simply want to educate themselves on the issue and hear from other perspectives. We want to provide a safe platform for these conversations to take place. Even if there are disagreements, seeing where the other side is coming from eliminates bias and better develops a whole picture of the issue.
